Kent is the principal responsible for all phases of architectural planning, design and documentation on a wide variety of project types.  His fifteen years of architecture, project management and design experience provides for site and client specific solutions to each and every project. He maintains detailed overview of all projects throughout all phases of design and construction. 

Mr. Purdy is also a Principal and co-founder of Miller Purdy Architects, Ltd. (MPA) a multi-disciplined architectural and town planning firm specializing in all facets of planning, residential and commercial architecture.  MPA participates in a strategic alliance with ALR and its affiliates. He is NCARB Certified and a registered architect in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. 

Kent’s experience covers Adaptive Re-Use, Renovation, & New Construction in both the public and private sector projects.  This project experience covers a diversified group of building and use types including; Commercial, Office,  Retail and Restaurant, Tenant Fit-Out, Sports Entertainment Complex, Health Care, Institutional and Municipal, Townhouse, Condominium, Single Family, Mixed-Use and  Multi-Family development. 

Kent has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Drexel University and is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Philadelphia Chapter.  His work has been selected for several awards and citations including the McGraw-Hill Construction Award of Merit 2005, Adaptive Re-Use, Associated Builders & Contractors Award of Excellence 2005, Associated Builders & Contractors Award of Excellence 1999, National Assoc. of Builders Grand Award Div II Award of Excellence 2001 and the Concrete Institute Grand Prize Arch. Concrete Precast Cladding 2003.

In his career, Mr. Purdy has been involved with many outstanding projects, such as, The Philadelphia School District Administration Building, QVC Studio Park Office Expansion, Comcast SportsNet, Philadelphia, PA, Nations Bank Center, WSFS Bank Branchdesign and implementation and the Victor’s Club in the Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, PA.
